In case you don’t remember the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, let us refresh your memory – recently announced as their newest line of Galaxy smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Mega lineup displaces the Galaxy Note line as Samsung’s large screen smartphone lineup. The king of the Galaxy Mega lineup is the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, a 6.3″ smartphone that allows for all of the disadvantages of using a tablet as a smartphone, with none of the advantages – because, well, there aren’t any.

The news here today is that the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 has just hit the FCC with the model number SGH-i527, and it brought something special along with it – a radio capable of the AT&T-specific version of LTE capabilities. This is the first sign that Samsung’s ginormous line of smartphones will be making its way over to the United States – the Galaxy Mega lineup as thus far only been confirmed for Europe.

Neither AT&T nor Samsung have made any official announcement regarding the Galaxy Mega 6.3, so keep an eye out for some sort of confirmation. We’ll be sure to update this post as soon as we know more.
