4203Galxy-Note3_030_set1-1024x994While customers have become accustomed to paying upwards of $200 for their high end, premium smartphones, Samsung and Sprint seem to be hoping that customers will be willing to pay just that little bit more for the Galaxy Note III. Scheduled for release on Sprint’s 4G LTE network on October 4th, the carrier is asking for a whopping $349 for the Galaxy Note III, which features a Snapdragon 800 processor, a 13MP camera, improved TouchWiz experience enhanced for S Pen, and that ever present and divisive 5.7″ display.

The Galaxy Note III on Sprint also comes with an Unlimited Data “lifetime guarantee”, meaning that if Sprint ever decides to end their Unlimited Data rates, the Note III will be grandfathered in – and unlimited LTE truly is a great deal no matter the carrier, at this point. However, it remains to be seen if customers will be willing to pay so much more for a device that really doesn’t offer too terribly much outside improved stylus support and a giant display over the Galaxy S4. It’ll be interesting to see what plans other carriers have for the device, and how customers respond.
